Marital Arts have long been recognized for its benefits to its practitioner.  Better physical and mental health, improved character and self-confidence comes with physical effort with a purpose.  The Shotokan style of Karate bring with it the traditions of Okinawa and Japan as well as modern approaches to learning and character development.  Classes involve physical conditioning, learning blocks, strikes and kicks and the proper use of those elements.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in local and regional tournaments.  Karate is an on-going activity.
